Integrative Counselling
What Is Integrative Counselling?
Compassionate Person-Centered Care
At the heart of my practice is a person-centred philosophy rooted in kindness, compassion and authenticity. I aim to offer a warm, non-judgemental environment where you can safely bring all parts of yourself — including the parts that may feel difficult, uncertain or misunderstood.
Neuroscience & CBT
Alongside person-centred therapy, I integrate elements of neuroscience, psychoeducation, creativity, existentialism and CBT into my work. Understanding why certain reactions happen in the body and nervous system can often bring relief, self-compassion and clarity. Sometimes simply learning how trauma, stress or anxiety affect us physically and emotionally can help us feel less alone in our experiences.
Creativity
Creativity can also play a powerful role within therapy. This may include metaphor, imagery, Gestalt techniques or creative expression through artwork where appropriate. Creative approaches can help access emotions, thoughts and experiences that are difficult to put into words.
